You might not think that a woman who moved to the US from China at the age of nine and an African American guy born and raised in Edwards, Mississippi would have very much in common. But Lina Lynn and Nick Wallace both share a passion for great food, a deep-rooted pride in their home state, and while they are both leaders in the Jackson food scene, they are now Food Network stars. Food Network scours the culinary world to find bright new stars to appear on the network, and these local chefs shone bright. Both of these busy chefs/restaurateurs/people are incredibly busy, so I'm super grateful that they had time to chat with me about their Chopped experiences.
