It is officially summer, and by this point kids all around Jackson have either become hermit crabs inside their homes, staring blankly at their television screens, or have their parents begging for school to start again. What kind of summer is that? Thankfully (for both parties) the metro area has a myriad of creative and engaging summer camps with something for everyone to enjoy! Whether your child is an artist or an athlete, a dancer or an engineer, these camps are sure to give them a summer to remember.
Mississippi College Music Camp

Girl’s Ballet Princess Dance Camp

Millsaps Summer Enrichment Camps: Mosaics for Teens

Millsaps is offering a new workshop for teens! Offered to ages twelve through eighteen, students who attend this workshop will learn how to make their very own mosaic art. A summer supply fee is to be paid along with the price of the workshop.

For those who like to build, students in kindergarten through fifth grade can register for this camp that tests their minds to work together as a team. Students will work with blocks similar to those in Minecraft.

Twin Lakes Day or Overnight Summer Camp
Memories are made at Twin Lakes Summer Camp! Friendly camp counselors invite children to engage in fun activities like horseback riding, archery and zip-lining. This Christian camp offers day camp for ages five through eight and an overnight camp for ages six through twelve.
The Little Gym of Jackson Summer Sessions
