Canton was truly a great place to grow up. It was a very tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone. I graduated from Canton Academy with a class size of around 40. You really couldn't help but know everyone and it was like you had 40 sets of parents raising you! Being able to open a business all these years later in Canton has been a very rewarding experience. The Canton News seeks to highlight the "Good News You Can Use" in Canton and there is no shortage of good news coming out of Canton. The public school district is investing heavily in the facilities. A new elementary school just opened this year and two other news school opened not long ago. The tourism department in Canton could go up against any tourism department twice its size. Hosting events like Christmas in Canton, the Canton Flea Market, Second Saturdays and the 4th of July balloon races, there is always something fun going on in Canton!
