Mississippi Food And Wine Festival

The first Mississippi Food and Wine Festival begins Thursday, June 13, at 7p.m. and runs through Saturday, June 15, featuring popular Mississippi 

chefs and Mississippi breweries.

 

It has already proven to be a success, with tickets to all Chefs Dinnerssold out. Event planners announced there may be a few left for Brent’s Chef Dinner, but they are expected to go fast.

Thursday, June 13, 2019, Opening Night Chef Dinners

 

• 7 p.m. -Lou’s Full Serve Chef Dinner will feature Chefs Louis LaRose, Mike Greenhill, Hunter Evans, Jason Goodenough and Robert St. John, with Randy Ford of Cristom Vineyards.

 

• 7 p.m. -The Cedars Chef Dinner will feature Chefs Derek Emerson, Mitch McCamey, Austin Sumrall, Ty Thamesand Alex Harrell, with Eric Swindle from Crimson Wine Group.

 

Friday, June 14, 2019, Festivities and Dining

 

• 6 p.m. -Craft Beer Festival-featuring dozens of craft beers from Mississippi breweries and the surrounding region.This is the anchor event for the Food and Wine Festival and is hosted under the big tent on Duling Avenue in the Fondren neighborhood. The Craft Beer Festival is entering its 5thyear.

 

• 7 p.m. -Albert’s Chef Dinner will feature Alex Eaton, Robert Rushton, Vishwesh Bhatt, Gray Townsend and Alejandra Mamud, with wine pairings from International Wines.

 

• 7 p.m. -Brent’s Chef Dinner will feature Chefs Jesse Houston, David Bancroft, Enrika Williams, Paul Adair, Hunter Evansand Bennett Lewis, with wine pairings from Magnolia Barrelhouse.

 

Saturday, June 15, 2019, Grand Tasting​

 

6 p.m. –Food and Wine Grand Tastingwill be general admission tickets. During this event, guests get to taste and drinkfrom the hottest chefs, distillers and brewers from Mississippi and across the South. This event will be under the big tent on Duling Avenue in the Fondren Business District in Jackson
